Robin Irwin, wife of Brian Irwin, passed away in March of 2022. Robin was a huge part of our water well industry family! She was Operations Manager for Murray Drilling Company, Bernalillo, New Mexico, and also served as Executive Secretary of the New Mexico Ground Water Association. Robin was elected as WSC’s first Contractor Board member in 2019. She also served as vice president of the Water Well Trust Board of Directors. In addition, Robin had chaired WSC’s State Association and Public Education committees and was a member of the Technical and Membership committees.
To honor Robin’s memory and the valuable work she did, the Water Well Trust established the Robin Irwin Sunshine Fund, as she truly was a ray of sunshine! This fund provides grants to needy families in New Mexico who are living without access to a safe water supply.
Now to honor her husband Brian, who also served on the Board of the Water Well Trust, we have changed the name to the Robin and Brian Irwin Sunshine Fund.
